[Howard Hutton (He/Him – They/Them) was born in Japan and raised between Air Force Bases and the family farm in Hickory County Mo.. They have lived in Columbia Mo. since attending MU in 1989. His background is in Epistemology and Religious Studies. Their current hobbies and groups are: Understanding and making space for the beautiful diversity inherent in the human condition through Parents 4 Parents, leading and making Scouting Programs safe for all youth, and promoting civil policy reform across intimately connected intersectional boundaries. He is married with 5 beautiful children that span the Gender Spectrum. Though blessed to be present at TCP’s inception, it was their work with Scouts for Equality that lead them to join the board in 2014, when TCP was looking for a helping hand. “Besides raising children, serving as a board member with The Center Project has been the most rewarding opportunity of my life because creating family is an amazing journey!”]
