As a parent/caregiver, you can improve your relationship with your child, and become a source of strength.

For years The Center Project has worked to uplift and empower the parents/caregivers of questioning and LGBTQ+ youth.

The Center Project is a nonprofit, interfaith source of information and support in Missouri for parents and caregivers of LGBTQIA+ and questioning young people, as well as the young people themselves. We provide educational resources, support groups, advocacy, interfaith learning and cooperation, and collaboration and partnerships with LGBTQIA+ organizations and agencies. We offer free online support groups, including groups for parents and caregivers, professionally facilitated by members of our staff, that meet regularly via Zoom.

REFLECTION ACTIVITIES

Researchers at Yale School of Public Health are testing free, individual online reflection activities to help parents/caregivers improve their connections with their LGBTQ+/questioning children. There are three brief, solo reflection activities, and all parents/caregivers can engage in them. There is an additional research study component for parents who are interested and eligible.
