Kim Leon is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but she has called Columbia home since 1990. Kim is a
Chaplain at Boone Hospital and Commissioned Minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Kim
is passionate about LGBTQ+ affirming spirituality and has been involved in Open and Affirming ministry
for several years. She is excited about TCP’s work to build supportive and inclusive community for
LGBTQ+ mid-Missourians, which led her to get involved with the TCP board. Kim lives with her spouse,
two teenagers, a dog, and a leopard gecko. She enjoys crossword puzzles, reading, crafting, and hiking.
